Scotland’s Weekly Skinny Swim, Turkish and Sauna.

When and Where

Sunday, 6pm to 9pm. Please arrive by 6.15pm and leave the building by 9.15pm. The exceptions are during the annual maintenance period in July and the Xmas holidays. You can phone the Arlington Baths, G3 6DT, 0141 332 6021 to check. Take Firstbus 4/4A to Woodlands Road where parking bays are free on Sunday. The Subway closes at 6pm.

How much does it cost?

Price is £10 for adults, 18-25 & FT Students £7. Towel hire included. Extra fee for Yoga

Who can attend?

Glasgow Continental SwimCard holders and Scottish Outdoor Club (SOC) members. It is also included as part of the Arlington Bath membership. Visitors and guests are welcome to try the swim before joining. You MUST bring photo ID and proof of address. For instance, passport and utility bill OR EU photo-driving licence. Your photo ID must show your date of birth. Visitors with ID and proof of address out-with the Central Belt can attend up to twice a year without buying SwimCard. On your first visit you are REQUIRED to have a short induction and tour.


Do I need to be naked?

It is expected that participants will be nude when swimming. You can wear a towel in the other facilities if you wish.

Will there be other women there?

Yes! Many women attend the swim, either on their own or with friends or partners. Come along or contact us for a female ‘swim buddy’ to meet you. swimto@scotnaturist.freeservers.com

What is the etiquette?

If you are respectful towards others and always sit or lie on a sheet or towel you will be fine.

Conduct which makes or could be reasonably be viewed as likely to make others feel uncomfortable or be harmful to them will be dealt with by a representative of Glasgow Continental speaking to the swim user and either issuing a warning or banning them.

As guidance, the following are examples of conduct which is not acceptable. Offering / performing massage or similar (including for someone you came with); following people round or repeatedly attempting to engage with them; being overly affectionate or intimate; deliberately watching people around the facilities or showering; commenting directly on or discussing other people’s bodies; sexually explicit comments; comments or behaviour of a racist, sexist, homophobic or other discriminatory nature.

In the unlikely event you experience or witness behaviour which concerns you, please report it to a member of the door team or pool-side staff on the same evening.

I like Glasgow Continental, how can I start coming regularly?

Bring ID and one passport style photograph to apply for the SwimCard which runs January to March the following year and currently costs £10 & just £2 for FT students and 18 - 25 year olds (£5/£2 from September).
